And here’s an update: I installed VMWare Fusion’s beta product, and so far it’s better than Parallels—thank goodness Parallels failed on me two days before my free trial period wore out! I’ve already uninstalled it.

I can drag and drop files directly between the Mac OS and Windows 2000. I can resize the virtual machine window to any size I like. Of course, the real test will be when (or if, I hope) I have to reboot because something’s dragging the system down. But I’m back in business again, and that’s what matters. I did send my bug report to Parallels, but for now they ain’t getting my money while I’m trying out VMWare Fusion.

try vmwarefusion It's in beta but so far so good, and pretty stable. also FREE ! And yo'rue right computers do make our lives easier, .. except when they really really don't !
