I've been watching T.V. for 35 years now and have noticed the changes from the "traditional" to the "liberal" (again - what I mean by "traditional" is what Hollywwod called "it"). I'm aware there are stereotypes about the sexes. Notice how lately that is changing to be more POLITICALLY CORRECT? In most action- packed scenes the female is now the martial artist. She seems to be smarter than her colleagues (the Boys). Even in the newspaper comics, the sister is smarter than the brother; Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown(when the truth is that if a boy wanted to,he'd easily take the ball away).In HERMAN the women are taller than the men. In the original Bionic Woman, she had a bionic EAR not EYE. Thus, the hidden message is to eliminate the MALENESS out. The same thing was done in Pan's Labirynth where the Trinity @the end includes a woman (Ofelia's mom) taking the role of the Holy Spirit, and a chair waiting for Ofelia (a girl) to occupy the place as Jesus -in the movie she died for the sins of mankind. I do alot of crossword puzzles(@ least 10 per day). Lately in the clues they sneak in clues about Arabs. Aren't we being too Politically Correct? Finally, I recognize that Women play an important role in our world. I admire that. Men and Women are of equal value and potential. Please give me your opinion on this phenomena. Thank You.
